Charming grounds but needs some TLC
The beautiful grounds create a lovely atmosphere. The quaint restaurant offered solid meals, although a bit overpriced for what’s served. Our stay in the King Room was mixed. it’s suggested to request a newer unit for an improved experience. Enjoy the outdoor scenery for a relaxing time!

missingWrote a review on Jun 01historic charmmemorable mealworn facilities
The historic building oozes New England charm, with pretty, simple decor that feels authentic. The restaurant serves a memorable crabcake that stands out among other meals, proving a highlight of the stay.
The room showed signs of needing some TLC, with a dripping shower and an ancient heater. Lacking common amenities like a microwave or fridge made keeping drinks cold a challenge, and I experienced brief hot water interruptions, which were frustrating during shower time. The carpets on the stairs were worn, and the shower bar could use replacing—it detracted from an otherwise pleasant experience.
